Mayfair composer Paul Von Mertens just finished work in Los Angeles on Brian Wilson’s upcoming release “That Lucky Old Sun” as arranger and conductor, in addition to playing flute, clarinet, saxophone and harmonica on the project. Paul will also perform at Carnegie Hall with Brian Wilson, Sting, James Taylor, and Billy Joel on May 8th for the Rainforest Foundation Benefit concert. If you look closely at the picture, you can see Brian (wearing red) sitting in a seat on the left side.
